A solar lease is a long-term contract between a business and YDE which enables the business to go solar with no upfront investment while benefiting from guaranteed solar performance and reduced utility bills. The lease model enables YDE’s customers to continue focusing on their core business while entrusting the solar plant’s design, operation and maintenance to YDE.
The company’s clients come from different industries and their projects range in size from 300 kWp to 8 MW. Select customers include The Specialty Hospital and Istiklal Mall. These customers receive solar
power from YDE’s solar farms outside of Amman. In the UAE, three of Nestlé’s factories in Dubai will soon benefit from solar power.
YDE was founded in 2015 as a spin-out from Adenium Energy Capital, a leading Middle East solar investor that has developed and financed over 300 MW of solar PV assets worldwide.
As a leading solar developer, YDE is an active member of EDAMA Jordan, Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) and Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA).
